Wychwood School in Oxford, UK, is offering one music scholarship for students joining Year 9 (13+). The scholarship covers the cost of instrumental tuition for up to two instruments including voice.
There is also a single organ scholarship available to cover organ tuition which is awarded to a high-level pianist.
These awards are intended for the support of the pupil’s musical interests. All music award holders are expected to be fully involved in the musical life of the school.
All qualified applications received before the end of the closing date will be considered for scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit at the sole discretion of the School.

Eligibility Criteria1. All scholarship applicants must sign up as student in Scholarships2u.com and sit for the Scholarship Benchmark Test online. 2. All candidates sitting for a music scholarship must be applying to join the school into Year 9 (13+). All music scholarship tests must be taken at the school. 3. Music scholars will be expected to be grade 5 or 6 level at 13+. 4. Applicants shall submit certified true copy of their recent exam result upon request. 5. Scholarship covers tuition fees only. At the music scholarship audition, candidates will be expected to play two prepared pieces on their instrument(s) and to do aural tests and sight reading on the afternoon of the entrance examinations day for 13+.
