The University of Southampton (UoSM) was invited by the Ministry of Higher Education to establish a campus for engineering in Iskandar, Malaysia. The campus officially opened in October 2012 and offers world-class education for the first two years of the course. UoSM offers a split campus degree, with two years of study in Malaysia, and two years in Southampton.
