The CATS Academy based in Braintree, Boston, is an international boarding school. As part of the CATS Colleges group, it specialises in preparing international students for university admissions. The Academy has tailored its programme to US tertiary education standards, which focus on everything about a student and not just their academic performance.

CATS recognises academic achievement by awarding contributions to tuition fees for exemplary Malaysian students. Up to 40% Bursaries are available for selected students from grades 9 to 12 (USA), or those aged 13 to 18 years.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Applicants must submit a certified copy of their recent exam results upon request. (If your documents are in a language other than English, you must provide certified translations).
Open to students aged 16 and above.
Minimum qualification: IGCSE, SPM
English Language requirement-Grade A at iGCSE English Language or 6.5 in IELTS (Academic Module)
Student will be subjected to an interview and required to sit the college entrance tests.

A photocopy of valid passport photography page
A photocopy of Malaysian ID card.
An essay written in English to include information describing who you are, your academic and extracurricular experiences and goals, and why you would like to study at this institution. (about 600-800 words).
