Partial Scholarship

Students awarded the Scholarship in the Arts receive an annual award of $1,000 ($4,000 over four years).

This award is in addition to any academic merit awards received. While Scholarship in the Arts recipients are not required to major in an arts field, they are expected to participate in the fine or performing arts throughout their college career.

Students must be in good academic standing, enrolled in 12 or more credits each semester and continue to be an active participant in the arts in order to remain eligible for this scholarship.

Terms and Conditions

  • All applications received before the end of the closing date will be considered for scholarships. 
  • Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until available scholarship funds have been exhausted. 
  • Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, at the sole discretion of the school. 
  • Any or all scholarship values published is an indicative value of the award and does not indicate the actual awards.
  • Please note that all scholarships information and/or scholarships value in this list were correct at time of publication, however they are subject to change without notice.
  • Submission of an application and meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. All applicants must register as students via Scholarship2u.com. 
  2. All applicants must make an application via the Scholarships2u.com portal in order to qualify for the scholarship. 
  3. Scholarship covers tuition fees only. 
  4. Terms and conditions may apply.
  5. Applicants must submit a certified copy of their recent exam results upon request. (If your documents are in a language other than English, you must provide certified translations).
  6. Open to students aged 18 and above.
  7. Minimum qualification for Undergraduates: A-LEVEL, UEC, O-Level, STPM, or equivalent. 
  8. Minimum qualification for Postgraduates: Bachelor degree qualification or equivalent
  9. English Language Requirement: 6.5 in IELTS (Academic Module) or equivalent
  10. School Leaving Certificate
  11. Letter of Recommendation from School
  12. Other supporting documents e.g. resume, awards, portfolio etc.
  13. A photocopy of valid passport photography page
  14. Applicants for admission with a demonstrated talent for and interest in the fine or performing arts (art, theatre and music) are encouraged to apply for the Drew Scholarship in the Arts.
  15. Students must be in good academic standing, enrolled in 12 or more credits each semester and continue to be an active participant in the arts in order to remain eligible for this scholarship.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Priority application deadline for the Scholarship in the Arts is February 1. Early Decision and Early Action candidates are encouraged to submit their scholarship applications as soon after the admissions application as possible.

Students must have a completed Common Application on file and submit the following:

  • Scholarship in the Arts Application
  • Portfolio submission
  • Audition by request
