Want a more affordable way to study in the UK? You could be eligible for a scholarship from INTO Newcastle to help towards your tuition fees – regardless of your background or financial circumstance.
This scholarship is for students entering any International Foundation programme at INTO Newcastle University and is worth between £10,000-£20,000 of pathway tuition fees. Up to 20 scholarships available based on previous academic merit.
Newcastle University is ranked 3rd in the UK for English (1st for impact), and in the top 12 for Geography, Architecture and Planning, and Cultural and Media Studies research quality. 1st in the UK for Computing Science research impact, 3rd in the UK for Civil Engineering research power and 11th in the UK for Mathematical Sciences research.
Terms and Conditions
- All applications received before the end of the closing date will be considered for scholarships.
- Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until available scholarship funds have been exhausted.
- Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, at the sole discretion of the school.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- All applicants must register as students via Scholarship2u.com.
- All applicants must make an application via the Scholarships2u.com portal in order to qualify for the scholarship.
- Scholarship covers tuition fees only.
- Terms and conditions may apply.
- Applicants must submit a certified copy of their recent exam results upon request. (If your documents are in a language other than English, you must provide certified translations).
- Minimum qualification for PreU, A-Level or Foundation: IGCSE, SPM, IGCSE, UEC, O-Level, STPM, or equivalent.
- Original test results must be produced in order to be considered for the scholarship.
- Applicants must provide documentation such as School Leaving Certificate, Letter of Recommendation from School, resume, awards, portfolio etc to be considered for the scholarship.
- Applicants must submit an essay written in English with information describing who you are, your academic and extracurricular experiences and goals, and why you would like to study at this institution. (about 500words)
