The International Foundation Year prepares students for entry into the first year of an undergraduate degree at UCD. All students benefit from a high-tech teaching environment and dedicated support, helping more students to reach the level they need for entry into UCD’s world-ranked courses. A part from that, we are pleased to offer scholarships for international students with a range of 10% - 30% from the total tuition fee per year which the scholarships amount per year is £1,000 to £4,000, with term and condition apply.

- All applications received before the end of the closing date will be considered for scholarships.
- Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until available scholarship funds have been exhausted.
- Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, at the sole discretion of the school.
- Any or all scholarship values published is an indicative value of the award and does not indicate the actual awards.

- Submission of an application and meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- All applicants must register as students via Scholarship2u.com.
- All applicants must make an application via the Scholarships2u.com portal in order to qualify for the scholarship.
- Scholarship covers tuition fees only.
- Terms and conditions may apply.
- Applicants must submit a certified copy of their recent exam results upon request. (If your documents are in a language other than English, you must provide certified translations).
- Open to students aged 17 and above.
- Minimum qualification for Foundation: IGCSE, SPM
- English Language Requirement: 6.5 in IELTS (Academic Module)
- Students will be subjected to an interview and required to sit the college entrance tests.

International Study Centre students have the opportunity to join the student community at Belgrove Residence Hall. Located on UCD’s main Belfield campus, you will be in easy reach of University facilities and the International Study Centre.
The ResLife programme aims to build a friendly and sociable community within your hall of residence. Special events are organised throughout the year, such as sports activities, fitness classes, cooking classes, social events and day trips. Make the most of your time here and get involved.
With over 90 student societies and 55 sports clubs on campus, there is something to suit every interest from canoeing to comedy and musicals to maths. The International Student Society also arranges activities and excursions all over Ireland, offering a great opportunity to get to know your new country and meet other students studying abroad.
