GISMA offer a range of partial scholarship from 20-30% to qualified students starting their University Pathway Programme - Blended Learning

Study a German language programme and receive specialist support with your application to German state universities/studienkollegs

University Pathway Programmes (UPP) at GISMA Language School enables you to learn German within a German-speaking environment. You will reach the required level with the necessary skills to study a degree programme in Germany.

With its specialist University Placement Service, GISMA helps students to apply to several German state universities for either Bachelor’s or Master’s programmes through one provider. Also, this placement service helps students with direct university access and to public Studienkolleg foundation courses for students with indirect university access.

Students receive full guidance from the University Placement Service regards to the application process, the required documents and any other information up to the moment when an offer letter from the chosen German university/Studienkolleg is issued. You will be able to take free online exams and receive certificates accordingly for study and visa preparation and/or your Studienkolleg or university applications.

You will have the option to study fully online or via blended learning, meaning you start your programme online and continue your studies on campus in the future. Benefit from a 20% discount for every level study online.

Online study will include a free tutorial of eight lessons in learning coaching including in study coaching, self-study and online learning techniques as well as a free tutorial in Studienkolleg/university applications. To ensure continued support and progression, you will receive individual feedback for each level. Our University Placement Service provides support for remote students requiring visa and accommodation support, in order to fully prepare your move to Germany.

UPP:Pathway Studienkolleg - Tuition Fee: €9,950

You will study 44 weeks of German language classes: 32 weeks of language classes (A1– B2 levels) + 4 free weeks of level-specific exam preparation (1 week at the end of A1 – B2 levels) + 4 weeks of Studienkolleg preparation Math + 4 weeks of Studienkolleg preparation German

UPP: Pathway Studienkolleg Top Up - Tuition Fee :€12,500

You will study 52 weeks of German Language: 40 weeks of language classes (A1-C1 levels) + 4 weeks of level-specific exam preparation (1 week at the end of A1-B2 levels) + 4 weeks of Studienkolleg preparation, including preparation for Math and German exams (4 weeks each)

and;

UPP: Pathway University

You will study 48 weeks of German language classes: 40 weeks of language classes (A1– C1 levels) + 4 free weeks of level-specific exam preparation (1 week at the end of A1- B2 levels) + 4 free weeks of DHS/TELC/TestDaf exam preparation

UPP: Pathway University - Tuition Fee: €10,950

Terms and Conditions

  • All applications received before the end of the closing date will be considered for scholarships. 
  • Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until available scholarship funds have been exhausted. 
  • Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, at the sole discretion of the school. 
  • Any or all scholarship values published is an indicative value of the award and does not indicate the actual awards.

  • Submission of an application and meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. All applicants must register as students via Scholarship2u.com. 
  2. All applicants must make an application via the Scholarships2u.com portal in order to qualify for the scholarship. 
  3. Scholarship covers tuition fees only. 
  4. Terms and conditions may apply.
  5. Applicants must submit a certified copy of their recent exam results upon request. (If your documents are in a language other than English, you must provide certified translations).
  6. Open to students aged 17 and above.
  7. Minimum qualification for Foundation: IGCSE, SPM
  8. Minimum qualification for Undergraduates: A-Level, UEC, O-Level, STPM, or equivalent. 
  9. Minimum qualification for Postgraduates: Bachelor degree qualification or equivalent
  10. English Language Requirement: 6.0 in IELTS (Academic Module) overall with no band less than 6.0 or equivalent.
  11. A photocopy of valid passport photography page
  12. A completed international student financial aid application.

The University Pathway Programmes are designed to prepare you for independent academic study at a German-speaking university/Studienkolleg, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Guidance on the application process and help to apply for up to five German state universities/Studienkollegs are included. GISMA has a full-time specialist consultancy service, helping you with every step of your studies. You will learn what courses universities offer and will be guided by advisors as to the documentation you need and which procedures to follow.

Study*: levels from A1 to C1**

Tests:

- TestDAF: with the UPP Pathway University + DHS/TELC/TestDaF Preparation, you will get prepare for your test.

- Studienkolleg entrance exams: this includes preparation for the math and German exams.

Placement: once you pass your test, work with our placement service officer to get into a German university

Acceptance: receive an offer from a German university

*The programme is suitable for students of all German-language levels, including the absolute beginners.

**According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) framework, language proficiency is measured from A1 to C2 levels. You need to complete the C1 level for the UPP Pathway University + DHS/TELC/TestDaF Preparation and the UPP Pathway University. For the UPP Pathway Studienkolleg, you will need to complete Level B2.
