The Swinburne Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship is a prestigious award to study any Swinburne on-campus degree.The Scholarship is worth $5000 per annum for the normal duration of your chosen degree and includes membership into the High Achievers Program, plus a one-off payment of $2000 towards an international study experience.
Awardees will also be entitled to the High Achievers Program with an academic mentor to assist in tailoring your Swinburne study experience, gain opportunities to develop skills in leadership, exposure to research or industry projects and ample networking opportunities to share insights with like-minded peers.To top it off, you will also be invited to apply for the Swinburne’s Student Ambassador Program, representing Swinburne at key events.
Swinburne received the 11th highest student satisfaction rating out of all Australian universities, and 2nd highest student satisfaction rating out of all Victorian universities. (satisfaction rating of 80.5, 2019 Student Experience Survey). It was recognised as having one of the best design schools in the world by subject (2021 QS World Rankings of Universities) and ranks top 50 for the Art and Design subject area.

- Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until available scholarship funds have been exhausted.
- Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, at the sole discretion of the school.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- All applicants must register as students via Scholarship2u.com.
- All applicants must make an application via the Scholarships2u.com portal in order to qualify for the scholarship.
- Scholarship covers tuition fees only.
- Terms and conditions may apply.
- Applicants must submit a certified copy of their recent exam results upon request.
- Applicants must have completed Year 12 and are commencing any degree programme at Swinburne University of Technology (Sydney).
- Applicants must meet all prerequisites of their chosen degree to be considered for this scholarship.
