Unlock your opportunities with a Vice Chancellor’s International Diversification Scholarship at Southern Cross University. This grant celebrates the diversity of nations with international students attending SCU.The program is open to all international students who wish to full-time study an undergraduate coursework degree with either one of the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campus at SCU. This scholarship provides students with a $8,000 fee reduction each year, paid in instalments throughout each study year, commencing in the first session and continuing, based on successful completion of each study session.

Terms and Conditions

  • The scholarship is only available to international students who are undertaking on-campus full-time degree study at the Southern Cross University main campus.
  • The scholarship is awarded, at the discretion of the University.
  • The scholarship is not available in conjunction with other scholarships.
  •  The scholarship is not transferable to a third party.
  •  The scholarship remains valid whilst the recipient remains enrolled in full-time study at Southern Cross University in the program listed on their Offer; and pays all tuition and additional fees/costs
  • This scholarships requires recipient to meet the conditions of their Student Visa.
  •  The scholarship will lapse if the Offer has passed the lapse date.
  • The scholarship will lapse if the student named on the Offer cancels their enrollment at Southern Cross University.
  • The scholarship is not redeemable in cash and subject to the student complying with all terms and conditions and will be credited in installments, to the student’s fees at the rate of $8,000 per study year.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1.  All applicants must register as students via Scholarship2u.com. 
  2.  All applicants must make an application via the Scholarships2u.com portal in order to qualify for the scholarship. 
  3. Scholarship covers tuition fees only. 
  4. Terms and conditions may apply.
  5. Applicants must be studying a full-time (8 units per year) undergraduate coursework degree at either the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campus.
  6. Applicants must exceed the minimum admission entry requirements of the University. Undergraduate entry: A qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 and the required entry grade for the program for which they have applied; and English language comparable to Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5
  7. Applicants must successfully complete all units in their progression, by maintaining at least a pass in all units, to remain eligible for the scholarship.
  8.  Applicants must meet the attendance requirements of their program and the student visa conditions to remain eligible for the scholarship
