Victoria University (VU) is proud to support hundreds of international students with a range of scholarships. The VU International Excellence Scholarship recognises and rewards the achievements of commencing international students.
The Scholarship is based on academic merit and requires students to have achieved results that are higher than VU’s academic entrance requirements. Students will be awarded. Successful applicants will receive AUD $3000 for the first two study periods. The total value of the Scholarship is up to AUD $12,000 towards the total tuition fees for a four-year undergraduate degree.
Victoria University is ranked among the state’s best universities in the innovative subjects of Engineering and Technology, and Computer Science, in the recent Times Higher Education World University Subject Rankings 2019, second in Victoria in Computer Science, behind only University of Melbourne (and equal seventh in Australia), and are in the top 2% of universities worldwide, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2020.
Terms and Conditions
- All applications received before the end of the closing date will be considered for scholarships.
- Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until available scholarship funds have been exhausted.
- Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, at the sole discretion of the school.
- Any or all scholarship values published is an indicative value of the award and does not indicate the actual awards.
- Please note that all scholarships information and/or scholarships value in this list were correct at time of publication, however they are subject to change without notice.
- Submission of an application and meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship.
- Applicants must successfully meet all remaining conditions for entry to their chosen course
- Applicants must maintain excellent attendance and complete all work during their course
- Recipients must maintain a 60 Weighted Average Mark (WAM), calculated after attempting every 96 credit points, in order to receive the scholarship in subsequent semesters.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- All applicants must register as students via Scholarship2u.com.
- All applicants must make an application via the Scholarships2u.com portal in order to qualify for the scholarship.
- Scholarship covers tuition fees only.
- Terms and conditions may apply.
- Applicants must submit a certified copy of their recent exam results upon request. (If your documents are in a language other than English, you must provide certified translations).
- Minimum qualification for PreU, A-Level or Foundation: IGCSE, SPM, IGCSE, UEC, O-Level, STPM, or equivalent.
- Original test results must be produced in order to be considered for the scholarship.
- Applicants must provide documentation such as School Leaving Certificate, Letter of Recommendation from School, resume, awards, portfolio etc to be considered for the scholarship.
- Applicants must submit an essay written in English with information describing who you are, your academic and extracurricular experiences and goals, and why you would like to study at this institution. (about 500words)
