Study Group pathway programmes are specially designed, university-recognised courses that help you to gain entry to the top universities in Australia and New Zealand. Qualifications range from High School Certificate to bachelors, graduate and masters degrees. Our programmes provide the academic, English language and learning skills you need to succeed.

Apart from that, we are pleased to offer scholarships for international students with a range of 10% - 35% from the total tuition fee per year which the scholarships amount per year is AUD$ 2,500 to AUD$ 10,000, with term and condition apply. 

Terms and Conditions

  • All applications received before the end of the closing date will be considered for scholarships. 
  • Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until available scholarship funds have been exhausted. 
  • Scholarships will be awarded based on merit, at the sole discretion of the school. 
  • Any or all scholarship values published is an indicative value of the award and does not indicate the actual awards.
  • Please note that all scholarships information and/or scholarships value in this list were correct at time of publication, however they are subject to change without notice.
  • Submission of an application and meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship. 

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. All applicants must register as students via Scholarship2u.com. 
  2. All applicants must make an application via the Scholarships2u.com portal in order to qualify for the scholarship. 
  3. Scholarship covers tuition fees only. 
  4. Terms and conditions may apply.
  5. Applicants must submit a certified copy of their recent exam results upon request. (If your documents are in a language other than English, you must provide certified translations).
  6. Open to students aged 17 and above.
  7. Minimum qualification for PreU, A-Level or Foundation: IGCSE, SPM
  8. English Language Requirement: Grade A at iGCSE English Language or 6.5 in IELTS (Academic Module)
  9. Students will be subjected to an interview and required to sit the college entrance tests.
  10. School Leaving Certificate
  11. Letter of Recommendation from School
  12. A photocopy of valid passport photography page
  13. A completed international student financial aid application.
  14. An essay written in English to include information describing who you are, your academic and extracurricular experiences and goals, and why you would like to study at this institution.

At Waikato Pathway College,

The student centre is a state-of-the-art, multi-functional facility that provides students with an optimal learning environment, combining traditional library resources with hi-tech IT facilities. The student centre is also home to the Student Learning Unit, who will assist in developing your study skills, assignment writing and exam preparation. Many students also make use of the English Language Resource Centre, which is a dedicated space designed to support your English language development throughout your studies. The Resource Centre is a short walk from the Waikato Pathways College building.

Besides, you will get the support you need to prepare for your degree in the picturesque surroundings of the Waikato region. During your programme with us, our staff will help familiarise you with the higher education system in New Zealand, and build your English language and study skills. You can also get to know all the university faculties and discover all the study opportunities available to you at undergraduate level.

Health services for all students are available on campus, including counsellors, doctors, and nurses. Our team of counsellors can help you adjust to university life, as well as assist you with any personal or study-related issues. Waikato has an ecumenical chaplain, a Catholic priest and two Muslim prayer rooms available.

There are staff and services within Waikato Pathways College that can support you with all aspects of living and studying in New Zealand. Our staff are qualified professionals who speak a number of languages, and can help you with any issues. When you arrive, you will receive a full University-wide orientation programme to help you quickly settle into your new life.
