York St John University was established 178 years ago. They offer work-based experience to university students involved in the program. All classes are taught by undergraduate and postgraduate students, staff and, increasingly people who have lived experience of mental ill health. They have developed a solid track record of delivering quality courses. Careful support and mentoring underpin their work, thereby allowing students to experiment with their own ideas and creativity while gaining real world experience in the community. This undoubtedly enhances students employability in an increasingly competitive market.
We are offering competitive scholarships of up to £1000 for all students who study undergraduate, postgraduate or research courses at our York Campus. Once you have applied to us and received your offer, you will be invited to complete a short piece of work to tell us how you will contribute to the University and our community. You will be sent a link to the scholarship form in.
We will contact you within two weeks of your scholarship application to inform you of the outcome. If you are awarded the scholarship this sum will be taken off the fees for your first year of study with us.
