The Centre is based at the heart of the University’s Park campus, set in 24 acres of landscaped parkland. With a lake, tennis courts and playing fields, there is plenty of outdoor space for you to relax.
As an INTO student you have full access to university facilities including free internet access, the library and computer rooms, a university email address, cafés, faith space, a Multi use games area for sports such as basketball, football and tennis and the Students’ Union. Your student ID card means you can also use the local buses at a discounted price.
We offer high-quality courses in English as a Foreign Language, pathway courses to university study and the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). We are also an examination centre for Cambridge English Language Assessment and a member of English UK.

The lively town is famous for its beautiful buildings and parks, its cultural festivals of music, literature and science and its racecourse. It has excellent facilities including theatres, art galleries, museums, restaurants, bars and many high-quality shops, making it one of Britain’s most visited tourist destinations. Cheltenham is easy to get to with direct coaches from Heathrow. Its central location makes it easy to visit other famous places such as Oxford, Bath, Stratford, Birmingham, all of which are about one hour away. London is just two hours away by train.
Studying and living in a different country is a great opportunity to learn about different cultures and to get used to new situations. Our student experience team is here to support you and help you during your stay. They are the people who you meet on your first day and will give you information about the Centre as well as show you around the campus and the town.
The team will help you register, log on to your university email and also help you if you need to open a bank account, see a doctor or register with the police. The student experience team also organises the social programme. This can include visits to cities such as Oxford, Bath or London as well as activities including walks, picnics, quizzes and parties.
