Founded in 1884, Ellesmere College provides a safe, friendly and warm environment with family values at its heart. Standing in its own stunning grounds covering more than 50 hectares, the school is conveniently located near the small, historic town of Ellesmere, and is less than 100 kilometers from both of England’s second major cities, Manchester and Birmingham.
The school offers students between the ages of 7 to 18 the chance to achieve success in both their studies and a wide range of activities, including music, art, sport, and drama, in a happy, friendly atmosphere.
Great Britain has a worldwide reputation for its high standards of education and here at Ellesmere College, we support that tradition by concentrating on the academic and social needs of every student.
We prepare students for their i/GCSEs, Pre A-Levels, A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate as well as giving them the opportunity to enjoy a full and varied sports and social programme. Students from many countries are all part of our boarding community, becoming fully involved in school life.
