We offer an extension programme designed for A-level students aiming for the top 5 universities that includes weekly sessions with a Cambridge University Tutor, a quality Medicine and STEM programme and an outstanding student progression rate (A*-A rate 87%, A*-B 93%). Class sizes are small (average size 4-6 students), and there are many student clubs and sports activities available along with individual tutor support and excellent pastoral care.
We have offered University Foundation courses since 1998 and offer a wide range of pathways including Law, Business, Economics, International Relations, Humanities, Science, Engineering, Psychology, Art & Design, Architecture, Media & Communications and Film.
Students apply for universities via the UCAS system and can choose to apply for five different courses. 87% of our Foundation students progressed to a top 20 UK university. Most of our students receive more than 3 offers from Russell Group Universities.
Students can join Foundation courses from September (9 months) or January (6 months, accelerated Foundation) with scholarships available. We organise university fairs, offer students the opportunity to visit universities and assist with all aspects of their UCAS application.
