Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus (Swinburne Sarawak) is a private university in Malaysia. It was established in 2000 and is a branch campus of the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia which was established in 1908.
The year 2019 marks the 27th anniversary since the institution gained its university status.
Swinburne Sarawak offers a selection of courses, from Foundation to PhD programmes in the fields of Engineering, Science, Business, Computing and Design. Its Master and PhD programmes are offered in both coursework and research formats.
As a university of technology, Swinburne Sarawak has advanced facilities which include world-class engineering, research and science labs, as well as tutorial rooms and computer labs adorned with cutting edge equipment.
Students have the option of completing their studies at Swinburne Sarawak or its Melbourne campus under a transfer programme. Alternatively, students can spend one semester in Melbourne while only paying local fees under its international student exchange programme.
