Marie, Ontario opened it's doors in 1965 as an Ontario Vocational Centre and evolved into one of Ontario's early community colleges, becoming the independent Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology in 1973. They now respond to the post-secondary educational needs of more than 4,500 part-time and full-time students each year.
